FRANKLIN PARK, NJ - (December 1, 2018) – Ocean State Job Lot (OSJL), a leading discount closeout retailer headquartered in Rhode Island with stores throughout New England, New Jersey, and New York, recently celebrated the grand opening of new Franklin Park located store at 3391 State Route 27. During its grand opening celebration held on December 1st, Ocean State Job Lot executives and Franklin Park Store Manager Steve Armand presented a $1,000 check to the Franklin Township Cultural Arts Council Gazebo Project for new, enhanced lighting. The project was chosen as the Ocean State Job Lot Charitable Foundation’s “Close to Our Heart” recipient.  OSJL also donated a pallet of non-perishable food valued at $1,000 for immediate use at the Franklin Park Food Pantry, in addition to an entire tractor-trailer truck of food to its regional partner, the Community Food Bank of New Jersey.

“We are so pleased that Ocean State Job Lot can play such an important role in the revitalization of this shopping district,” said David Sarlitto, Executive Director, Ocean State Job Lot Charitable Foundation. “We pride ourselves on making connections within the communities in which we operate, and we look forward to continuing our relationship with the town of Franklin Park.”
