SOMERVILLE, NJ – The Somerset County Employers Legislative Committee will host Assemblywoman Eliana Pintor Marin (D-29) at a luncheon on Friday, March 29 from 11:30 a.m.-1 p.m. at Verve Bistro, Bar, & Lounge, 18 East Main St.
Pintor Marin has served in the General Assembly, representing Belleville and Newark since 2013, and has been Budget Chair since 2018. Professionally, she serves as Assistant County Administrator for Essex County. She is expected to discuss the State Budget recently presented by Gov. Phil Murphy, how it will be addressed by the Legislature, and the benefits to the business community in Somerset County and the state.
“Assemblywoman Pintor Marin is at the heart of the budget process in the State of New Jersey,” said Carol Bianchi, co-chair of the Somerset County ELC. “Her timely discussion of the recently introduced budget with provide insight into the workings of state government in the year to come.”
