Franklin Township: Local Church to Host Emergency Shortage Blood Drive

SOMERSET, NJ - There is a need for blood and St. Mathias is looking to fill that need with an emergency shortage blood drive, Sunday, Jan. 28. 

"Frigid temperatures and snowy weather put a damper on blood donations and we are experiencing blood shortages," New Jersey Blood Services, Account Manager, Rosana Tabakci said.

FRANKLIN TOWNSHIP, N J - Snow will not fall tonight as predicted but don't put your shovel down just yet.

FRANKLIN TOWNSHIP, NJ - The township recently announced curbside Christmas tree pick-up scheduled for Jan. 16 will be delayed due to storm preparations.

Snow is expected to fall here, later today according to the National Weather Service.
