SOMERVILLE, NJ - The number of reported COVID-19 cases in Franklin increased to 1,117 on Sunday, increasing by 107 since last Sunday, according to the Somerset County Department of Health. Last week cases in Franklin increased by 140. 

In Franklin, 94 residents died due to COVID-19 complications according to the SCDH. According to the state Health Department, 67 of the COVID-19 related deaths in Franklin happened in long-term-care facilities.

There are 3,590 cases in Somerset County, according to statistics provided by the SCDOH, an increase of 283 since last Sunday.

There are 327 COVID-19 related deaths in Somerset County, demographic information has only been provided for 322 as of 5:15 pm today. One person aged 18-29, 10 people aged 30-49, 31 people aged 50-64, 112 people aged 65-79, and 168 people over the age of 80 have died, according to statistics proved by the SCDOH.

Statewide, there is a total of 137,085 cases, an increase of 1,631 overnight, with 9,116 deaths reported, an increase of 164 since Friday, according to the State Department of Health.

There are 1,326,138 cases in the United States, with 79,384 deaths; worldwide, there are 4,088,393 cases and 281,893 deaths, according to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention.
