SOMERVILLE, NJ - The number of reported COVID-19 cases in Franklin rose to 1,130 on Monday, increasing by 13 overnight, according to the Somerset County Department of Health.  

A total of 330 deaths in Somerset County have been attributed to COVID-19, according to the SCDH. There were no reported COVID-19 deaths reported overnight in Somerset County.

The number of new daily cases in the county has leveled off so far in May. From April 20-30, there was a daily average of 88 new cases being reported. In May, the average daily increase in the county has been 39 through the first 11 days of the month.

In Franklin, 94 residents died due to COVID-19 complications according to the SCDH. According to the state Health Department, 67 of the COVID-19 related deaths in Franklin happened in long-term-care facilities.

There are 3,613 cases in Somerset County, according to statistics provided by the SCDOH, an increase of 23 since yesterday.

There are 330 COVID-19 related deaths in Somerset County, demographic information has only been provided for 322 as of 5:04 pm today. One person aged 18-29, 10 people aged 30-49, 31 people aged 50-64, 112 people aged 65-79, and 168 people over the age of 80 have died, according to statistics proved by the SCDOH.

Statewide, there is a total of 138,532 cases, an increase of 1,447 overnight, with 9,255 deaths reported, an increase of 139 since yesterday, according to the State Department of Health.
