SOMERSET, NJ - Franklin Township Public Schools will have a delayed opening to help give staff members the opportunity to familiarize themselves with the district's "Remote Learning Plan" according to school officials.
The following message was sent out to FTPS families:
This is a message from Franklin Township Public Schools. In order to familiarize all staff members with our Remote Learning Plan and finalize learning modules in case we need to rely on Remote Learning Days in the future due to closures related to Covid-19, all Franklin Township Public Schools will have a delayed opening for students on Friday, March 13, 2020. All staff members should report to their assigned buildings at their normally scheduled time. There will be no AM CARE Program. Franklin High School parent teacher conferences are cancelled for Friday, March 13, 2020 and Franklin High School will also have a full session with a delayed opening. Student families should check the website for school specific arrival times. We will continue to do our due diligence in monitoring COVID-19 and its impact on Somerset County and Somerset County schools and will continue to keep you updated.
