Somerset County: Heat Advisory in Effect Labor Day and Tuesday

NEW YORK, NY - The area around the grill isn't going to be the only hot place this Labor Day. The National Weather Service issued a heat advisory for Somerset County and much of central and northern New Jersey beginning at noon Labor Day and continuing to 9 p.m. Tuesday Sept. 4.

Rabid Raccoon Found in Franklin Township

SOMERSET, NJ - The Somerset County Department of Health is warning residents that a raccoon found in the area of Hollywood Avenue in the Somerset section of Franklin Township has tested positive for rabies, according to a release issued Tuesday afternoon.
