Healthy Tips for Summer from Dr. Etheridge 

With the temperatures rising outside, it is important to stay safe and not to get dehydrated.

Here are some tips:

  • Drink plenty of fluids
  • If you are working outside, don’t forget to wear sunscreen
  • Wear protective clothing. If possible, wear long pants, long-sleeved shirts, and hats
  • Limit your sun time, especially between 10 a.m. and 4 p.m.
  • Use sunscreen and use it right. If you start feeling nausea, dizziness, lightheadedness, and fever, contact your healthcare provider
