SOMERSET, NJ - Despite the change in the way 2nd graders have attended school recently, students at Cedar Hill Preparatory School continued to work hard on Science Fair projects.
Students enthusiastically shared their results, demonstrating their understanding of the Scientific Method in live on-line presentations. Many topics were investigated, including friction, car speed, pollution’s effect on plant growth, and best mixtures to eliminate hand germs.
Experiments also related to the density of liquids, magnetic force, the absorbency of materials, and crystal formation. Our young scientists discovered that hypotheses may not always be supported, organization of data is important, and that one experiment often leads to another!
Well-done, 2nd graders!
