PISCATAWAY, NJ - Piscataway PBA Local 93 will host their annual Pigz Roast Run in memory of Police Officer Julia Caseres on Saturday, July 14.

Officer Caseres passed away on June 21 at the age of 28 after battling a rare form of lung cancer. She had been a member of the Piscataway Police Department and PBA for three years.

“In the short time as an officer and Piscataway PBA member, she left an amazing impact on all our lives and her amazing spirit embodied what our union and our police department represents. She will truly be missed. Our Annual Pigz Roast Run will be dedicated in her memory. Thank you Sister Julia for your service and we will take over watch from here. Rest In Peace” 

Sign in for the motorcycle run and bbq on July 14 will be held from 9 a.m. until 11 a.m. at Piscataway High School, 100 Behmer Road. The run will begin at 11:15 a.m. concluding at 1 p.m. at Gabriele's Bar & Grill, 1351 Centennial Ave in Piscataway.

There is a $25 registration fee per person. The festivities will feature live music from Big Hix and will also include bbq food, soft drinks and a commemorative t-shirt. 

Supporters do not need a motorcycle to attend the event. All are welcome. For more information call (732) 233-8022.
