Sean Pohle Credits: Alexa Haynes

RARITAN TWP., NJ – Police here and in New York City are looking for a Hunterdon Central High School graduate who has been reported missing.

Sean Pohle, 24, was last seen in his apartment in Manhattan and was reported missing on Friday, Nov. 3.

Pohle is known to drive a black, 2015 Honda two-door Civic, with New Jersey license plates Y26ACB, according to a spokesperson for the New York City Police Department.

His girlfriend, Alexa Haynes, said he is about 5 feet, 11 inches tall, weighs 150 pounds, and wears black glasses. He often wears dark skinny jeans, V-neck shirts and black Nike sneakers, she said.

Pohle’s family still lives in the township. Raritan Township Police Chief Glenn Tabasko said Pohle’s family is concerned and has notified police here.

Because Pohle was reported missing in New York City, police there are managing the investigation, the chief said, and police here are cooperating with them. Pohle “hasn’t committed any crime,” Tabasko said, “but we’re concerned for his welfare.”

This isn’t the first time that the Pohle family has faced a crisis. Sean’s brother, Michael Pohle, Jr., died in the 2007 shooting at Virginia Tech University. He was one of 32 people killed in that attack.

Anyone who thinks they’ve seen Sean Pohle is asked to contact NYPD or Raritan Township police.
