SOMERSET, NJ - Police are investigating shots being fired Monday morning on Barker Road. 

"We can confirm that there was a shooting with no injuries just property damage," Somerset County Prosecutor's Office Deputy Chief, Frank Roman Jr. said in an email. "The matter is actively being investigated by the Franklin Township Police Department and the Somerset County Prosecutor’s Office Major Crimes Unit."

Roman said no arrests have been made at this time, and no further information will be released at this time.

Police responded to Baker Road on July 17 after receiving reports of shots being fired. An unidentified person who had suffered a gunshot wound was found when police arrived.
