UPDATE: City police early on Friday announced that the missing youth had been located. No other details were released.

NEW BRUNSWICK, NJ - City police issued a plea for the public's help in finding a missing 14-year-old New Brunswick youth who was last seen on Tuesday.

Authorities say Otoniel Martinez-Ulloa was wearing a pink sweater, gray jacket and khakis the last time he was seen.

Martinez-Ulloa is described as five-feet, nine-inches tall, and weighing 145 pounds.

"New Brunswick Police Department seeks your help in locating a missing child," police said in the alert issued late Wednesday night. They did not give the location of the youth when he was last seen.

Authorities ask that anybody with information that can assist in helping safely locate Otoniel to call 911 or contact the police.
