BERNARDS TWP., NJ - The Olympics aren't the only games to enjoy right about now. A group of local Girl Scouts working on their Silver Awards will be holding Game Day for special needs children ages 6 to 14 next Saturday, March 3, at the Somerset Hills YMCA in Basking Ridge.
Game activities, as well as carnival-style games and prizes, will be held in a "safe and stress-free environment," according to information from the YMCA.
The event is scheduled to be held from 4 to 6 p.m. at the Somerset Hills YMCA facility at 140 Mount Airy Road in Basking Ridge. The Somerset Hills YMCA is a branch of the Somerset County YMCA.
Free and open to community
Game Day for special needs children is free and open to the community. However, registration is required.
