EAST BRUNSWICK, NJ - The Warriors topped East Brunswick 26-20 on the road Thursday afternoon to remain undefeated at 6-0.

Powered by strong defense and solid special team play, the Warriors were able to stay a step ahead of East Brunswick in what Franklin Middle School Coach Blair Wilson called a "hard-fought battle."

Nyaair Stallings started the Warriors scoring with a 50-yard kick off return. Quarterback AArion Johnson hit offensive standout Romeo Carmen-King for a 29-yard touchdown.

Running back Tayjhir Williams had a long 50-yard touchdown run to score the Warriors third touchdown of the game.

Following two missed extra points the Warriors put the ball in the hands of Joey Suriel to run in a two-point conversion. 

Mike Schermeryer and Demba Contech intercepted East Brunswick. Schermeryer turned his interception into a pick-six.  

"We won a hard fought battle," Wilson told TAPinto. "We just wanted to get out of there health and with a win to remain undefeated."
