SOMERSET, NJ - The Warriors defeated North Brunswick 20-0 at home to remain undefeated at 5-0.

Romeo Carmen-King powered the offense with a solid rushing campaign scoring all three of the Warriors touchdowns with a 20, 30, and 50-yard run.

Franklin Middle School Coach, Blair Wilson said despite being down two starting linebackers the defense was able to hold North Brunswick's strong running game scoreless.

Keyon James and Joseph Nawachuckaw were two of the defensive players who stood out. James had an interception and Nawachuckaw returned a 20-yard fumble before being tackled.

Wilson credits the win to preparation, by the coaching staff and the players. According to Wilson, Coach Neil Morgan who is also the assistant offensive coordinator told the team the game would be won through practicing hard and good game film study.

"We had the best week of practice and film study," Wilson said.

The Warriors will put its undefeated record on the line against East Brunswick, Oct. 17.
