SOMERSET, NJ - Overnight milling and paving will impact commuters traveling on Amwell Road and Cedar Grove Lane to Demott Lane from Wednesday to Thursday this week according to a township alert.
Somerset County will be working on the roadway.
"Motorists should expect an altered traffic pattern and are being asked to use caution when driving through the area," reads the township alert. "If at all possible motorists are encouraged to seek alternate routes of travel and avoid the area completely since some delays are possible."
Somerset County published the following road work schedule:
Working Hours 7:00am-4:00pm (One-Lane closures from 9:00am-4:00pm):
Mon 10/21- Wed 10/23- ADA curb ramps on CR514 Amwell Road in Franklin from Cedar Grove Lane to Demott Lane
Mon 10/21- Tues 10/22- Inlet & Manhole repairs on CR514 Amwell Road in Franklin from Cedar Grove Lane to Demott Lane
Milling & Paving Working Hours 8:00PM-5:30AM:
Wed 10/23- Thur 10/24- CR514 Amwell Road in Franklin from Cedar Grove Lane to Demott Lane
