The Cattaraugus County Health Department confirmed a 131st case of the coronavirus Tuesday.
According to a press release issued by the department, the latest case is a female who lives in the northeast quadrant of the county. The woman came into direct contact with a known COVID-19 positive person. She was tested for COVID-19 on July 30, and her COVID-19 positive result came back on Monday.
The department has begun thorough contact tracing on the woman.
There are 11 active COVID-19 cases in the county; 116 residents have recovered, and four have died.
