The Cattaraugus County Health Department confirmed a 135th coronavirus case Monday.
According to a press release issued by the department, the latest case is a man who lives in the northwest quadrant of the county. The man, who has been asymptomatic, denies any significant travel history, but has had direct contact with a COVID-19 positive person
He was tested for COVID-19 on Thursday, and the results showing he was positive came back Monday.
The department has begun thorough contact tracing on the man.
The county's active positive COVID-19 caseload is eight; 123 residents who have recovered, and four have died.
