The Civil Division will handle necessary services but those may be slowed.

And while tenants are not exempted from paying rent, all evictions are halted until further notice, according to the post.

The Communications Division (911 Center) will continue to function as usual. Depending on the incident, a deputy or trooper may make a phone call instead of responding in person and will complete reports and do follow-ups when deemed necessary. COVID-19 exposures or symptoms should be reported to the 911 dispatcher.

"There are no road closures, travel advisories or state border closures," the statement reported. "We do ask for our citizens to avoid unnecessary travel and 'Stay Home, Stop the Spread.' "

Non-emergency questions about COVID-19 response, county's status and related topics can be made to the Emergency Operations Center at (716) 938-9119.
