CUBA, NY-- The 14th annual Cuba Garlic Festival begins Saturday, kicking off a weekend filled with food, music and entertainment for attendees.
The two-day festival begins at 10 a.m. at Empire City Farms, 102 S. St., with the coronation of the Garlic King and Queen.,and will continue until 6 p.m. Festival hours are 10 to 5 p.m, Sunday.
The event will feature several cooking presentations, music acts and other entertainment, presentations by New York State Police K9 Unit and a garlic braiding demonstration. The Kiddie Corral section of the festival will provide story time programs, games and other children's activities.
Admission is $7 for individuals over 11 and includes all activities plus parking.
