Early Discount Deadline Nears for Spellbound Festival at SBU

ST. BONAVENTURE, NY — The Spellbound Festival set for Aug. 5-7 at St. Bonaventure University is approaching as quickly as one can say Hogwarts and the early registration price will soon be ending.

During the festival, the St. Bonaventure campus will be transformed to host activities related to the Harry Potter series. An updated schedule of activities can be viewed online at www.stbonavenue.com/spellbound-schedule.

If you have found yourself spellbound by wizards, witches, incantations and owls, you’ll want to be at the festival as an overnight or day pass guest. Overnight guests will enjoy the entire event and the most immersive experience the festival offers. The Full Festival Experience is $165.00/per adult (children 12 and under are $145).

The package includes Friday and Saturday night accommodations in one of St. Bonaventure’s campus townhouses, (1) one ticket to FridayNight Sorting Feast, (1) one ticket to Saturday Night Great Hall Feast, breakfast on Saturday and Sunday (End of Term) mornings, (3) Three “Take a Magical Class” passes, and all other open activities and entertainment throughout the festival (games, educational panels/discussions, fun and easy craft projects, Horcrux Hunts, Quidditch Games, Live Wizards Chess and more!).

For guests who would rather stay at their own home, the festival offers a Full Festival Experience Without Overnight day pass, which includes all the activities above without the overnight accommodations. The price for the day pass is $80/per adult (children 12 and under are $60).

Children younger than 18 must be accompanied by a parent or guardian.

Early reservations at discounted prices are available for both package options until July 7, after which reservations will still be taken as availability allows, but at a higher price.

Organizers say The Spellbound Festival is sure to provide a magical experience for witches, wizards and muggles. Spellbound guests will be in good company with a group of like-minded fans and scholars who are under the same magic spell.

For pricing and additional information, visit www.stbonavenue.com/spellbound-festival or contact Jennifer Pulver at (716) 375-2045 or jpulver@sbu.edu.

After a 46-year absence, I'm Still at Home on Bona Radio
