ANGELICA, NY — The Vote For Women! 19th Amendment Book Club, a four-part series sponsored by the Angelica Community Radio and Humanities New York, will meet for the first time Feb. 27 at 6 p.m. in the Meeting Room of the Angelica Grange Hall on Park Circle.
The book participants should read before the February meeting is “Seneca Falls and the Origins of the Women’s Rights Movement” by Sally G. McMillen.
Rusty Tobin will lead the monthly discussions. The other three dates and book titles are:
- March 26: "Elizabeth Cady Stanton: An American Life," by Lori D. Ginzberg;
- April 30: "Women Will Vote: Winning Suffrage in New York State," by Karen Pastorello and Susan Goodier; and
- May 28: "A Woman’s Crusade: Alice Paul and the Battle for the Ballot," by Mary Walton.
