CUBA, NY -- Local musician Roger Pettengill (aka Jolly Roger) will play guitar and harmonica and sing songs covering many generations on April 9 at  2 p.m. in the Palmer Opera House, 12 W Main St.

A lover of the singer/songwriter style of music, Pettengill will be performing songs by Gordon Lightfoot, Arlo Guthrie, John Mellencamp, Cat Stevens, Brooks and Dunn, Peter, Paul and Mary, Bob Dylan and many more, with video presentations in the background. The concert is suitable for families.

Admission is by donation, and refreshments will be available. Proceeds will benefit the ongoing maintenance and upkeep of the historic venue, built in 1867.
