MILWAUKEE, WISC – The Milwaukee Bucks on Tuesday announced the team has signed former St. Bonaventure University star Jaylen Adams to a contract, confirming a series of published reports tthat circulated last week.
Adams, 23, split time last season between the Atlanta Hawks and the Erie BayHawks of the NBA G League before signing a multi-year contract with the Hawks on Feb. 21. He was waived by the Hawks on July 13.
He appeared in 34 games for the Hawks last season and averaged 3.2 points, 1.9 assists and 1.8 rebounds in 12.6 minutes per game. He started 20 games for the Erie BayHawks of the NBA G League and averaged 15.3 points, 6.4 assists, 4.7 rebounds and 1.5 steals in 31.7 minutes per game.
In his four years at St. Bonaventure, Adams averaged 17.4 points, 5.4 assists, 3.4 rebounds and 1.5 steals. He was named a First Team Atlantic-10 player in each of his final three seasons.
