The National Weather Service has issued a winter storm warning for Allegany, Cattaraugus and
Chautauqua counties.
According to the agency, northern portions of the three counties will receive 6 to 10 inches of snow overnight Monday into Tuesday morning. Accumulations of about 3 to 6 inches, along with some ice, are expected in areas near the state line.
The winter storm warning was issued at 2:23 p.m. Monday and will remain in effect through 6 a.m. Tuesday.
