OLEAN, NY -- "Naughty or nice?" Santa Claus made sure to ask the children who came to give him their Christmas wish lists inside Santa's Cottage at Lincoln Park Wednesday.

Parents and guardians accompanying the children were encouraged to take as many pictures as they wanted.

Santa urged all children to write him a letter and to place it in the mailbox by the cottage, which was created by families of the EvenStart program. Santa's Cottage event sponsors are the Greater Olean Area Chamber of Commerce, the City of Olean, Home Depot, and Duggan & Duggan.

As families made their way out of the cottage, Mrs. Claus gave goodie bags to the children and reminded them to be good boys and girls.

"Santa is always watching," she said.

GOACC will offer another evening of visits with Santa on Dec. 14 from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. For more information regarding Santa Claus Lane, call 716-372-4433 or email santa@oleanny.com. For a list of the other events GOACC has planned for this holiday season. To see them,visit www.oleanny.com.
