OLEAN, NY – The Olean Oilers were just as hot as the weather Saturday, sweeping the Hornell Dodgers in a twin bill at Bradner Stadium.

Olean won the opener, 7-5, as Brian Pulli settled down and blanked the Dodgers after surrendering five runs, only two of them earned, in the first inning.

In the nightcap, the Oilers cruised to a 13-3 victory, banging out 15 hits while pitcher Nathan Holt dominated the Dodger batters.

The Oilers, 11-12, are off Sunday. The team travels to Niagara Falls Monday to take on the Niagara Power at Sal Maggie Stadium at 7 p.m.
