OLEAN, NY -- The Oilers sent 14 batters to the plate in the sixth inning and scored nine runs on their way to a 9-6 victory over the Niagara Power in a New York Collegiate Baseball League Wild Card game at Bradner Stadium Monday.
With the win, Olean advances to the Division Finals and will begin a three-game series against the Rochester Ridgemen Tuesday.
Cole Hollins and Jimmy Webb each knocked in two runs in the big inning, which came after the Power had jumped out to a 4-0 lead. Brian Pulli pitched seven innings to notch the win.
Tuesday's Division Final game with Rochester will begin at 7 p.m. at Basket Road Field in Webster.
