OLEAN, NY -- The city will hold a public hearing Tuesday to obtain comments on its community development needs and discuss the possible submission of one or more Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) applications for the 2018 program year.

The hearing will begin at 6:15 p.m. in Council Chambers of the Olean Municipal Building, 101 E. State St.

The CDBG program is administered by the New York State Office of Community Renewal and will make approximately $20 million available for the 2018 program year to eligible local governments for housing, economic development, public facilities, public infrastructure, and planning activities that benefit low and moderate income persons.
