OLEAN, NY – A Buffalo man was arrested in Olean Thursday in connection with the sale of crack cocaine.

Police said members of the Street Crimes Unit arrested Jamar L. Mills, 22, and charged him with three counts each of criminal possession and criminal sale of a controlled substance.

The arrest was a result of an investigation that lasted several months, according to police. The case was presented to the grand jury by Cattaraugus County District Attorney Lori P. Rieman, and resulted in an Indictment.

Police said Mills was taken into custody on Hamilton Street in Olean, booked at the Olean Police station and then taken to the Cattaraugus County jail to await arraignment.
