ALLEGANY, NY — State Police have made two arrests in connection with a report that a person was being threatened with a pistol at a business on State Route 417 in Allegany.
Raymond E. Sage Jr., 40, was charged with criminal possession of a weapon, and Mirranda L. Baker, 23, was charged with criminal possession of a controlled substance. Both live in Great Valley.
Police said an investigation of the incident determined that Sage was the person who made the threat. Baker was found in possession of methamphetamine, police said.
Both were released with August appearance tickets for Allegany Town Court.
