“I think narrowing the definition of sexual assault and dismissing cases that do not fall into that definition is a dangerous change. Adding that a conduct that does not fit the narrow definition is harassment only if a reasonable person would say it was leaves a lot of room for interpretation of the jury and could become problematic,

“I don’t think that the reporting of sexual assault is something that should be discouraged or seen as dangerous for the victim. Although the provisions made are more protective than the original proposal, it is important that we do not marginalize accusers while protecting the accused.”
