ALLEGANY, NY – State Police arrested a Pennsylvania man Friday on larceny and drug charges.
Troopers arrested Daniel R. Terrette, 31, of Shinglehouse in connection with the theft of $538.31 of merchandise from the Walmart store in Allegany. Police said Terrette, who was in possession of Suboxone, a drug used to treat opioid addiction, as well as chronic and acute pain. He was charged with petit larceny and criminal possession of a controlled substance.
Police also determined that Terrette had an outstanding arrest warrant from the Wellsville Police Department, so he was turned over to Wellsville authorities after processing of the larceny and drug charges, which will be returnable to Allegany Town Court at a later date and time.
