How safe would you feel teaching in-person classes this fall? Why or why not?
For the most part, if proper precautions are instituted, and students are diligent in keeping the regulations put in place, I feel somewhat secure in teaching in-person classes. My only fear is non-compliance by the students, and possibly some staff.
What precautions need to be put into place for you to feel safe?
One in particular is a plexiglass barrier to stand behind while teaching. Others would include proper ppe.
What were your biggest takeaways from teaching online? If you had to do it again this year, would you be okay with that?
My biggest takeaway is that I miss in-person teaching. I like interacting with students in living color.
What were your thoughts on the email from HR?
I believe that those emails indicate a real concern for safety. I appreciate that.
