OLEAN, NY – The traffic signal at the intersection of West State and 4th streets will be out of operation Wednesday morning while the Department of Public Works’ Electric Division conducts traffic control service.
According to a press release from the Public Works Department, the traffic signal will be inoperable from 6 a.m. to noon.
During this period, traffic on West State Street will have the right-of-way, and there will be temporary stop signs on North and South 4th streets.
Motorists are encouraged to use an alternate route if possible because traffic may become congested.
