Traffic Signal at Union and State Becomes Temporary 4-Way Stop

OLEAN, NY – North Union Street construction resulted in damage to the traffic signal feeding at the intersection of Union and State streets, according to a press release from Linda Huff, Department of Public Works office supervisor.

The pedestrian signals are not working, and the traffic signal will be put on flash, making the intersection a four-way stop until the roundabout is installed, she said.

Huff added the department appreciates people’s patience during the construction process.
