OLEAN, NY -- State police arrested two Olean men on drunken driving charges in separate incidents on Feb. 11.
Rohan Tinson, 38, was arrested after police responded to a report that a car was in the median on I-86 in Allegany at about 4:30 a.m. Police said Tinson was uin rthe vehicle and had an odor of alcohol on his breath. Tinson failed a standardized field sobriety test and recording a .17 percent blood alcohol content, police said.
The second arrest occurred around 9:10 p.m., when police stopped Mark E. Ayers, 58, for a traffic infraction on Seneca Avenue. While interviewing Ayers, police noticed an odor of alcohol. Police said Ayers then failed a field sobriety test, and recorded a .14 percent blood alcohol content.
