OLEAN, NY – City police arrested two Olean residents Wednesday and charged them with selling crack cocaine.
Police said Timothy S. Irvin, 43, was arrested at his Reed Street home and charged with two counts each of criminal sale of a controlled substance and criminal possession of a controlled substance.
David Carl Benson, 49, was arrested at his home on West Green Street and charged with one count of criminal sale of a controlled substance and one count of criminal possession of a controlled substance, according to police,
Police identified the controlled substance as crack cocaine.
The two men were arrested under separate indictment warrants that had been handed up by a Cattaraugus County Grand Jury after presentation of the cases by District Attorney Lori P. Rieman. The Olean Police Department’s Street Crimes Unit served up the warrants.
All charges are B felonies.
