ST. BONAVENTURE, NY -- Love is in the air.
At least that’s the sentiment St. Bonaventure University alum Corinne Lettieri holds about her favorite holiday movie, “Love Actually.”
“The cast is so amazing, and I love that it’s not your traditional holiday movie,” Lettieri, a Class of 2014 graduate, stated.
Lettieri, who leads a busy life as the multimedia producer at WGRZ Channel 2 in Buffalo, said her favorite tradition has always been decorating the tree. Since she and her siblings are all out of the house, their mother waits until everyone comes back home before decorating the tree.
Like her mother, Lettieri enjoys having her entire family over during the Christmas season. She said she always looks forward to seeing them.
She recalled the best gift she ever received as her trip to Walt Disney World with the St. Bonaventure University Women’s Rugby Team.
As for giving gifts, she commented: “I can’t think of a gift I’ve given anyone. I’m horrible at giving gifts.”
Lettieri strongly believes that it is never too early for Christmas music. It is not about the time of the year for her, but the feeling of family she finds while listening to a favorite album.
She starts celebrating Christmas when she sees Santa ride in on a float during the Macy’s on Thanksgiving Day Parade on TV.
“That’s the way it has since I was a little kid,” she added.
