OLEAN, NY – The Olean Theatre Workshop will start off its 2019-2020 season Thursday through Sunday with “Moonlight and Magnolias.”
The comedy centers on problems with the making of “Gone with the Wind,” based on Margaret Mitchell’s novel.
Kelly Welch Vacarro is the director. Cast members are Pab Sungenis, Benjamin Hollamby, Nick Youngs, Paul Nelson and Ashley LaBombard.
Performances are at 7:30 p.m. Thursday, Friday and Saturday and 2:30 p.m. Sunday. All tickets are $10 and can be purchased on the website, by phone at 716-373-SHOW, or at the door (based on availability).
OTW's second production will be"The Humans," Stephen Karam's play about a family’s Thanksgiving gathering at a daughter’s apartment in Chinatown in New York City, Nov. 21 to 24.
The third production, “The Matchmaker” by Thornton Wilder, a romantic farce set in Yonkers, is scheduled for Feb. 6 to 9.
The last production of the season will be Agatha Christie’s courtroom drama, “Witness for the Prosecution,” May 7 to 10.
