Charter Communications will offer free Spectrum broadband and Wi-Fi access to households with K-12 and/or college students that do not already have Spectrum broadband subscriptions and at any service level up to 100 Mbps.
In addition, Charter, which is based in Connecticut, will partner with school districts to ensure local communities are aware of these tools that help students learn remotely. Spectrum Internet Assist also will be available to eligible low-income households.
Charter also plans to open Wi-Fi hotspots for public use.
