The drive will take place from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. at Jim's Park and Shop, 1014 Front St.
Funds will support service projects conducted by both organizations. The funds also will be used to buy books for schools and libraries in memory of Mark Stewart, a former BonaResponds volunteer who passed away as a result of a hit-and-run accident.
Positive Ripples is a joint effort of several St. Bonaventure University clubs and groups. According to its webpage, the organization works “to make the world a better place by starting ripples of hope, knowledge and kindness around the globe.”
BonaResponds helps people who are experiencing disasters or who need assistance with housing and other needs by sending volunteers for support.
