The Cattaraugus County Department of Health has confirmed its 31st case of the coronavirus, according to a press release the department issued Wednesday.

The individual is a woman who lives in the southwestern part of the county. According to the release, she has no significant travel history, but came into close contact with a known COVID-19 positive individual. The woman developed shortness of breath and was tested for COVID-19 Monday. A positive result came back Tuesday.

The woman is under quarantine with her family at home, according to the press release. The department of health will monitor their symptoms closely and has begun a thorough contact tracing on the woman.
