Friday is the deadline for the 2020 Congressional Art Competition.
The annual competition is open to all high school students in the 23rd Congressional District, which includes the Greater Olean area and is represented by Rep. Tom Reed. Each high school in the district may submit one piece of artwork.
The winning student will have his or her original artwork displayed for one year in the United States Capitol and will have the opportunity to travel to Washington for an opening exhibition celebration of student artwork. Finalists will have their artwork displayed in Reed’s Washington office.
Framed artwork must be submitted to one of Reed’s district offices with the appropriate documentation.
