The National Weather Service has issued a winter weather advisory for Cattaraugus, Chautauqua, southern Erie and Wyoming counties.
This advisory will be in effect from 10 a.m. Wednesday to 10 a.m. Thursday.
According to the agency, periods of lake effect snow will result in snow-covered roads and limited visibilities. Snow accumulations of 3-to-7 inches, as well as wind gusts as high as 35 miles per hour are expected.
The agency said that the hazardous conditions could impact Wednesday evening and Thursday morning commutes.
