OLEAN, NY ― The Olean Common Council's Committee of the Whole and Regular Council will consider three resolutions Tuesday. The committee will meet at 6:30 p.m. followed by the full council at 6:35 p,m, Bthe sessions will take place Council Chambers of the Olean Municipal Building.
Among the items on the agenda are the authorization and appropriation of state and federal funds for the "Walkable Olean Phase III --- East State Street Complete Street Project;" authorization for Mayor William Aiello to sign an agreement between the city and the state in connection with 2019 Accelerated Transit Capital funds for the Olean Area Transit System; and an authorization of the transfer of 301 W. Oak St. to the Cattaraugus County Land Bank, Inc.
Tuesday's meeting will also include a report from the city operations committee on enacting a local law to grant a partial property tax exemption to elogible senior citizens, as well as a communication from the Christopher Columbus Club, at 540 N. Union St. regarding a liquor license renewal.
