Avoid the Flu Blues in Olean

October 17, 2017

OLEAN, NY -- Flu season in Western New York arrives in late fall and lasts until early spring.

According to Dr. Gilbert Witte, a pulmonology specialist with the Olean Medical Group, "Influenza comes in two general forms, Type A and Type B. They're both viruses that basically exist to make our lives miserable.”

The usual symptoms entail coughing, congestion, and a runny nose.
