ALLEGANY, NY – The Allegany Public Library will be closed until April 20 as a precaution to the spread of COVID-19, according to library director Nate Austin.

The Allegany and Olean libraries are members of the Chautauqua-Cattaraugus Library System. A TAPinto Greater Olean check of its website shows that all library closings are not yet listed. Austin said the system will be issuing a statement later.
