The Cattaraugus County Health Department confirmed two additional cases of the coronavirus Thursday, bringing the county’s total to 117.

The 116th confirmed case is a male who lives in the northeast quadrant of the county, according to a press release issued by the department. The man reports no significant travel history or direct contact with a known COVID-19 positive person. The man, who developed fatigue and diarrhea, was tested for COVID-19 on Sunday. His test results on Wednesday indicated that he was positive for the virus.

The department has begun thorough contact tracing on the individuals. 

There are seven active COVID-19 cases in the county; 106 residents have recovered, and four have died, according to the press release.
